We were asked to create a logo for the Photography Department of Bauer Media. Using a stylised illustration of a camera we developed a brand with a practical, vintage feel.
We were very pleased with range of options we came up with for the project, some of which are featured below.

Working as an Art Director for Bauer Media, Christie designed the logo for Pregnancy & Birth Magazine’s annual awards, The Bloom Awards 2007. She designed a detailed, soft, illustrated solution that was applied across the material for the event.
Oh My Museli

Oh My Muesli is a personal project, created by Salt Cellar’s very own Christie Photopoulos. Christie is a huge muesli fan and makes her own varieties and gives them to friends for presents.
Each muesli is personalised to the recipient and features an illustration of the lucky person and a recipe on the reverse of the jar so the muesli can be recreated.
Birderie Anglaise

Birderie Anglaise is a personal project, a mini brand created for Christmas 08 by Salt Cellar’s very own Christie Photopoulos. Featuring Christie’s unique illustration style, she created Christmas cards that double as bookmarks and hand made Christmas tree decorations.

Sara Jubb, Naturopath

We were asked to create an identity for Sara Jubb who is a Naturopathic Nutritionist. We developed a woodcut look, still life illustration to use as a device across the material that reflected the organic nature of her business.

Working with the supply chain management team at United Biscuits we designed a logo to create a separate identity within the corporate structure. In addition an ongoing series of posters to raise awareness of training opportunities and other incentives was designed.
JMF Music

A branding project for JMF music, a music tuition company based in the UK.
The logo itself had to be adaptable as the business will expand to include all forms of tuition. This is the first logo for the music area of the operation.
John Fackrell, the founder, is a guitar player and started teaching whilst studying at university. To reflect this, we produced a line drawing of a guitar which we then applied across all the brand material. For adverts or areas where larger graphics were needed we produced illustrations featuring many instruments in a blueprint style.
When the other areas of the business need material this style can then be replicated for any area, for example, pens, pencils and calculators for maths lessons. This design is classic and versatile and will keep the business in good stead as it grows and develops.
