Working with the guys at Action Medical Research we designed a brochure, a newspaper and magazine advertising campaign for a new charity cycling tour, The Tour of Spain.
Adapting the identity from Action’s successful London to Paris bike ride we used large imagery to really sell the experience and challenge of the ride. The tour is for serious cyclists, given the distances covered, and we wanted to make sure we reflected this in all the material.

A postcard for the London To Paris bike ride designed for Action Medical Research. This is the actual complete artwork, so if you post the postcard on your board you’ll get a double hit of pins and cork... Or if it goes on the fridge it’ll look like you’ve got cork on your fridge!

Trek the Great Wall of China

Working with the guys at Action Medical Research we developed a identity, brochure and a newspaper and magazine advertising campaign for a new event, trekking along the Great Wall of China.
The concept chosen was a parchment style using large, distressed imagery.

The 6 page, A4 trek brochure showing the interior spread detailing the expedition. It was designed as a market style restaurant table, with note pad, polaroids and maps.

United Biscuits

Working with the supply chain management team at United Biscuits we designed a logo to create a separate identity within the corporate structure. In addition an ongoing series of posters to raise awareness of training opportunities and other incentives was designed.

JMF Music

A branding project for JMF music, a music tuition company based in the UK.
The logo itself had to be adaptable as the business will expand to include all forms of tuition. This is the first logo for the music area of the operation.
John Fackrell, the founder, is a guitar player and started teaching whilst studying at university. To reflect this, we produced a line drawing of a guitar which we then applied across all the brand material. For adverts or areas where larger graphics were needed we produced illustrations featuring many instruments in a blueprint style.
When the other areas of the business need material this style can then be replicated for any area, for example, pens, pencils and calculators for maths lessons. This design is classic and versatile and will keep the business in good stead as it grows and develops.

Mother & Baby Awards 08/09

Working as an Art Director for Bauer Media, Christie collaborated with James on designing the invitation for the Mother & Baby Awards 2008/2009. We produced a two colour solution, in a rich black with luminous pink lettering and graphics.

The invitation had a custom bi-fold with the logo half die cut to hide the message text.
